The Art Department is a staple of Elwood Public Schools and the teacher, Kip Stephens loves his job. As an art teacher he loves his classes but is retiring this year! He is a valued member of the Elwood Public Schools and will be missed. His favorite thing to teach was his watercolor unit.
Stephens says his last semester of classes “has gone smoothly and the kids have been excellent.” Ceramics has been making wheel pottery, including a heart bowl and a wind chime. Drawing class has been water color painting and is going into acrylics.”
Stevens also has a student, Victoria Bliven, who earned a first place at the Fort Kearny Conference Art Show.
