Dayton Zackery is looking forward to graduating from Elwood High School and pursuing a career in welding.
“I plan to go to the Western Welding Academy,” explained Zackery.
Even though Zackery is ready to move on from EHS, there are some things he will miss.
“I’ll miss the teachers that impacted my life,” he said.
While in high school, he participated in golf and basketball. His favorite class was conditioning.
Zackery reflected on his favorite memory at EHS: “When Mr. Banzhaf kicked a student’s desk because they fell asleep.”
Finally, he had some good advice for underclassmen.
“Don’t take anything for granted,” advised Zackery.
