Elwood Senior Isaiah Jess is looking forward to entering the workforce following graduation.
“I’m looking forward to getting a job with a corporate company and saving money to live on my own and get a new car,” said Jess.
Even though Jess is ready to move on from EHS, there are a few things he will miss.
“I’ll miss having a place to be around my friends because once I’m out in the “real world” I won't be able to hangout with them everyday,” he explained.
While at Elwood, Jess has participated in esports, playing Super Smash Bros. His favorite class was speech class, which is where his favorite memory at EHS happened.
“My favorite memory was when I performed a eulogy for a Futaba body pillow. I actually bought the pillow and brought it to school and the prom last year,” said Jess.
He had a few words of advice for younger students at EHS: “Stop being so annoying and just pay attention in class.”
We hope Isaiah finds success in his work after EHS!
