Zack Christner has attended Elwood Public Schools since grade 3. As a senior, he is now looking back on his time at Elwood, while looking forward to obtaining a degree in welding after graduation. Christner has been captivated by the world of welding ever since he participated in a welding class during his Freshman year of high school. He even remarked that this class was his favorite from his time spent here.
Christner is going to further his education by getting a welding degree from Central Community College. He then plans to expand his welding career by getting a degree in underwater welding from Washington Welding School.
Christner said his favorite memory from school was when Kaylin poured milk on Kate’s head at lunch. He participated in golf, Stampede, wrestling, and FFA during his time at Elwood Public Schools. He looks forward to graduation and is excited to continue his education. To underclassmen, his piece of advice is to not fail classes and continue working hard.
