As Nina Leising finishes up her last couple months of being Elwood’s Elementary Secretary, she took a few minutes to share some thoughts about her time at Elwood.
After being here for twenty two years, she has had many good memories.
“I have enjoyed all the laughter and comradery; the people make this place,” said Leising. She also says that there were memories with some tears.
Her plans after she retires are to learn what it is like to be at home each day. She also wants to travel and see some new places.
“I’m looking forward to spending more time with my grandkids and being able to go places when I want,” said Leising.
She’s going to miss many things, but most importantly all the people.
“The kids have always been a blessing, and all the fun with the employees,” explained Leising.
She’s hoping for a wonderful last few weeks of working here!
