Trevor Jorges is nervous, but excited about leaving for college. He says he is nervous because in a few months he will leave for college and take on more responsibilities. But Jorges is excited because when he is in college he can do whatever he wants. Jorges also says he will be sad because he won't be as close with his friends, and won't be involved in sports.
Jorges plans to go to college after high school, but he hasn’t fully decided where yet. Currently, he wants to go into Pre-Med and major in biology, then go to medical school at UNMC. His backup plan is to become a nurse director.
Jorges says he is looking forward to graduation, because he is ready for college and pursuing his career. Jorges’s favorite high school memories are making it to the playoffs in football the past two years. Jorges’s advice for the underclassman is, “Always give 100 percent, whether it’s in a sport or in school. You’ll regret it if you don’t give it your all.” We are all wishing Trevor the best in pursuing his goals after high school!
