
Our Intro to FCS classes had fun matching up with Kindergarten and PreK students to design a silly monster and story using story cubes. The students then sewed felt creations of the characters and wrote stories they read to the younger students. It was fun for all!

We have been studying catapults in 7th grade. We watched an introductory video, completed vocabulary, took notes over different types of catapults, and created designs for a catapult to build. Today we started building catapults.





Students in digital art class spent a day last week learning about the history of the Day of the Dead holiday in Mexico. They also compared those teaditions with American holidays and traditions. Then they made a papel picado (punched paper) banner fornthe classroom.




You may have seen babies out and about last weekend with the Child Development students. They had one weekend of learning what parenthood was like taking RealCare babies home to experience the reality of midnight feedings and fussy babies.





Ask your 9th grade science student tonight, why the string didn't fall apart when lit on fire?



The 7th graders displayed their new hand sewing skills making Emoji pillows at the end of first quarter!
