Do you know, here at Elwood Public Schools we have a Mental Health Practitioner who comes to our school? Her name is Kristina Messersmith, she works at Lexington Regional Health Center, but is she is here often. She has been coming to our school in Elwood for 7 years, so she is well acquainted with our school system and staff. Have you had moments where you are seeing different moods or behaviors in your child that are causing concern and they don’t have a counselor? Please reach out and we can set you up with Kristina who is that resource for us. We can ask her if she can screen your child and identify if there is a need for ongoing counseling, or if there are any additional resources to help you.
Please contact Daren Hatch/Ryan Jones for more information. Kilah Oaklund will be the contact person beginning December 5, 2024
