The Hi-Line Volleyball Team is ready to do “Whatever it takes” to have a great season!
Team members are: Jaci Muegerl, Allison Wall, Allie Lauby, Ashley Easterday, Carley
Thompson, Madison Woehrle, Bridgett Nichelson, Delaney Collins, Zoey Evans, Cici Lerdall,
Ansley Williams, Skyler Oberg, Brooke Brockman, and Alexa Nelson.
Lori Knoerzer, head Hi-Line volleyball coach, explained that the team’s theme this year
is, “Whatever It Takes.”
“This season has already had its ups and downs. I think we are learning what works and
what doesn't. We will use this to get better with each set and by the end of the season we will
be the team I know we can be,” said Knoerzer. She went on to explain that each member of the
team has been doing their part to become a better player and teammate, which will make the
team stronger.
“Coaching this group of girls is so much fun! They come to practice ready to take on the
challenges in front of them and they all have great attitudes,” said Knoerzer. She credits the
players with being competitive and getting physically and mentally stronger.
On a personal note, Knoerzer explained what volleyball means to her: “I love volleyball!
I love the game, I love the girls I get to coach, I love the coaches and people I have gotten to
know, I love the opportunities volleyball has given me. I am very passionate about coaching
volleyball and I love it when players' skills improve, their knowledge of the game increases, and
they fall in love with volleyball too.”
