There will be a severe weather spotter training for Gosper County on April 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Elwood Fire Hall. It is open to the public.

The Pirate Speech Team had a great day at the Elm Creek Speech Meet on Saturday (2/22)! Medalists were: Kara Brockman, 1st in Varsity Persuasive and 4th in Varsity Entertainment; Adrianna Seberger and Christdolyn Hagan, 5th in Vasity Duet Acting; Kass Salisbury, 5th in Varsity Informative and 6th in Varsity Program of Oral Interp. The Elwood Elementary students were blessed by a gracious donation that allowed each and every student in the elementary to receive their very own book from the book fair.
